Thanks for asking, Shaul. Free tools are good to start with, but they limit how many people you can reach out to (usually about 3 a day, compared to 20 a day with paid tools). Whether it's worth the money really depends on what you want to achieve.
If you're just trying to get more followers on LinkedIn, it might seem expensive. But if you use it to meet new people regularly, like I do, it's actually quite cheap. I get about 20 meetings a month with interesting people, which works out to only $2-3 per meeting.
I've gotten a lot of value from this tool. Using the method I explain in my article, I found my last two jobs and even my business partner. When you look at it that way, $70 a month is a really good deal.
In the end, it comes down to how you use it. If you're looking to invest in yourself and grow your career, it can be money well spent.
Thank you for the response! For getting the next jobs and projects, $70 is really a good deal. But as we know (and reality tells), it doesn't always work that you, you need to also be very smart and talented to do it all correctly. :) But I will certainly check it out!
Sounds like a great tool, a bit expensive. What are the disadvantages of the free tool?
