News of the week. π°
Open AI has released their βtasksβ feature in beta. βοΈ
Overall, 2024 has been a big one for AI tools, with most AI solutions providers rolling out new features regularly, and every day that passes makes ChatGPT closer to becoming a personal assistant.
2025 seems to follow the same trajectory. This week, Open AI just announced the released of the feature βtasksβ. The goal of that feature is to be able to send reminders and scheduled assignment. Using this feature, youβll be able to ask ChatGPT to execute actions at a specific or a recurring time.
At first, this may seem like a minor update Nothing groundbreaking, right?
Yes. BUT.
Letβs think a bit bigger here. π
Why this feature (might) matter
OpenAI is releasing new updates almost every two weeks. These small improvements are making ChatGPT more useful and more integrated into our daily routines.
On its own, Tasks might seem like a small upgrade. But when paired with other ChatGPT featuresβlike Searchβit could become a powerful tool for monitoring and organizing information.
For example, if youβve ever used Google Alerts, you know itβs not very effective. With ChatGPT, you could:
Summarize updates on your competitorsβ new features.
Collect blog posts or social media content on specific topics β (enterprise targeted content for example).
Get detailed analysis based on your competitorsβ communications.
All of these based on the information available online and your own knowledge center. π€―
In theory, (almost) all of this is already possible. But right now, ChatGPTβs Search feature still needs improvement. I tested it with real tasks, and while the concept is exciting, the features arenβt reliable enough to fully trustβyet.
But, in the near future, that could offer great opportunities for PMs and PMMs.

Create your product launch kit with AI. π
If 2024 has taught us one thing, itβs that speed to launch and early revenue generation are now top priorities for product teams.
Yet, as teams shrink and efficiency becomes non-negotiable, the pressure to deliver quickly can feel overwhelmingβsometimes, itβs a race against the clock.
Good news is that you can save HOURS in only a few minutes.
The challenge of the week
Youβre a PM or PMM at a startup, and your CEO has urgently requested the launch of a new feature. You need to create a launch kitβfast. It must include everything your team needs internally and everything your customers need to hear about your product.
π This week, weβre skipping the strategy definition phase. Instead, weβll focus on transforming an existing strategy into dozens of customized assets for various needsβall in a matter of seconds.
Iβll show you how to use Custom GPT to prepare your launch kit quickly and efficiently. With this approach, youβll generate tailored content for multiple channels and internal use cases, saving both time and effort.
1. Providing context to your custom GPT.
During that first step, weβre going to see how to properly set up your GPT. Youβll find the GPT tab in top right corner of your ChatGPT app.
For this exercice, Iβll use the example of Cockpit, an observability product I launched when I was working at Scaleway.
Hereβs how the GPT set-up window looks like. π
The 2 most important sections of the GPT tab are the βinstructionsβ and βknowledgeβ
Step 1. Start with a clear βinstructionsβ section
When it comes to AI, garbage in = garbage out.
To make the most of your GPT, start by creating a solid briefing prompt. This prompt will guide the AI and ensure it produces high-quality outputs. You can either draft it manually or use AI to summarize existing materials (such as powerpoint presentations or Notion pages).
This brief should answer these key questions:
What is the product? Include main features, benefits, and use cases.
Who is it for? Define your ICPs (Ideal Customer Profiles) and personas.
What are the key selling points? Highlight unique value propositions.
What makes it different? Explain how it stands out from competitors.
What are the main content guidelines? Detail your tone of voice and copywriting style.
Once youβve crafted that briefing prompt, you just have to copy/paste it in the instruction section.
Hereβs the briefing prompt Iβve used for my own GPT. π
