Meet the universal connector for LLMs 📌
Ever wished your AI assistant could do more—like check your emails, pull real-time data, or even book a meeting for you?
That’s what MCP (Model Context Protocol) is designed for.
Think of it as the USB‑C for AI—a simple, universal connector that lets AI interact with the world beyond its training data.
The News
Until recently, AI models like ChatGPT or Claude were stuck in time—they only knew what they were trained on.
OpenAI, Gemini, or Perplexity introduced internet access for search.
But it gets very difficult when you want to connect your LLMs to other tools:
it requires technical knowledge, an understanding of APIs, it raises safety concerns…
MCP (Model Context Protocol) was introduced by Anthropic in late 2024 to fix that by acting as a bridge between AI and the tools you already use.
Instead of programming each app separately, MCP provides a single, standardized connection that lets AI talk to databases, emails, APIs, and more.
The protocol is becoming more and more popular.
There are now MCP directories, and major companies are offering MCP connectors (Slack, Airbnb…). For example, Microsoft just announced the introduction of MCP in Copilot Studio.
Why it matters:
MCP is likely to become the universal standard for LLM <> app connection.
Imagine this:
💡 "Summarize this YouTube video and save the transcript to my Google Drive."
With MCP, the AI can fetch the transcript, process it, and store the summary automatically—no manual work or wiring is required.
Product Teams need to be aware of this protocol as it changes the way LLMs interact with their environment.
✅ AI can finally stay updated – No more outdated knowledge. MCP enables AI to fetch live data from any connected system.
✅ One connection, endless possibilities – Whether it’s Slack, Google Drive, or a CRM, AI can access them all without custom-built integrations.
✅ Works with any AI – You’re not locked into one provider. MCP makes switching between AI models seamless.
✅ Keeps your data secure – AI can access tools without storing sensitive info, keeping you in control.
How to test it
If you’re tech-savvy, you can easily build your own LLM/IDE to connect to MCP “servers”(apps) here or build your own MCP “server” here.
If you’re not into code and use Claude, you can set up MCP servers with the Desktop app here.
Would you use MCP to make your AI assistant more useful?

Craft stunning LinkedIn carousels with AI
"We don’t have a choice on whether we do social media,
the question is how well we do it."- Erik Qualman.
✅ Having a personal brand is becoming a major lever for Product people.
It's how you build trust and visibility.
✅ Carousels work great on Social, but designing them takes a lot of time & creativity.
✅ AI assistants + Gamma let you create carousels in minutes, with zero design skills.
✅ Just plug in your ideas, pick a style, export, and post — done.
Why social media matters for product teams
Let’s be real — being off the social media grid isn't an option if you're in Product Marketing or Product Management these days.
Your customers are online.
Your competitors are showing up.
Your future employers will screen your profile.
Being active on LinkedIn isn’t just about building a “personal brand” anymore.
It’s how you shape how people see you and your product.
It’s how you earn trust.
Stories get told on social media, particularly LinkedIn if you’re in tech and B2B.
One of the best formats to tell your story: Carousels.
They’re visual. Easy to scroll. Made for telling a good story, slide by slide.
But creating a good carousel kinda sucks. You’ve got the ideas, the insights.
But turning them into slides? That’s where things fall apart.
You start building...
Then you lose the thread.
You spend 30 minutes moving text boxes around.
You overload each slide with lots of information
Then stare at a design that still feels... meh.
So what do you do?
You push it to “next week.” Then next week becomes next month.
Your audience never sees your ideas.
Your profile stays under the radar.
Your competitors keep filling your feed with their carousels.
And you keep reading about all the opportunities they got from LinkedIn.
With the right AI workflow, you can create a high-converting LinkedIn carousel in under 10 minutes.
Zero design experience is needed.
No Canva headaches.
Just crisp storytelling — powered by AI tools you already use.
🧠 Step 1: Craft your carousel content
Start with the topic for your carousel.
If you don’t have an idea for the post, list ideas from your experience showcasing your expertise.
You can use custom GPTs (see link at the bottom) or use this prompt:
Act as a social media marketing expert specializing in [user's industry/niche].
Using my background as a [user's job title/expertise], generate 10 innovative carousel ideas for [preferred social media platform] that will engage [target audience].
These ideas should showcase my expertise in [specific skills/knowledge areas], align with current industry trends, encourage audience interaction, and reflect my professional brand voice, which is [describe brand voice].
Write the outline for the carousel
Now that you have the topic, we need to craft the content for the carousel slides.
Use our tailored prompt for a tailored output (at the bottom for our Premium members).
Or start with a simple prompt like:
"Create a LinkedIn carousel outline about [topic].
Keep it short and catchy, 8–10 slides max. Each slide = 1 idea."
Example:
"Create a LinkedIn carousel outline about how to use LLM+Gamma to create LinkedIn carousels.
Keep it short and catchy, 8–10 slides max. Each slide = 1 idea."
With this simple prompt, you’ll get a rough draft in seconds. Refine it. Add personality.
Punch it up with real examples or customer language.
🪄 Actionable tips:
Show AI how to sound like you:
upload examples of your writing, tone, and style - like past LinkedIn posts, blog articles…
Adapt to your audience:
Detail who your ICP is, and ask AI to write for them, using their language and terms.
🎨 Step 2: Convert to Slides with Gamma
Once your content is ready:
Go to Gamma.app
We already introduced the tool here to craft beautiful presentations.
Paste your content into a new doc - select “Paste in text”
Paste the prompt output and choose “Social” for the output and “Portrait” format.
Note: for Instagram, you can select "the “Stories” format ratio.
Define your preferences for the text content.
Select “Preserve” Text Content, as we wrote specific slide content.
Select “Image Source: AI images” to generate illustrations with no effort for you.
You can choose between various AI models.
You can specify your favorite image style (ex. Pixar, abstract, manga…).
🎨 Step 3: Adjust the looks of your carousel
Pick a theme or create your own (keep it simple, focus on contrast and clarity)
Let Gamma do its magic: It formats each slide automatically.
No fiddling with fonts or alignment. It creates AI images automatically.
Gamma structures your slides for visual clarity.
Adjust each slide’s content, such as the card structure, or the layouts.
You can also adapt and add elements like:
charts
smart blocks
images - use AI to change images to your liking.
embedded pages & elements
forms & buttons
📤 Step 4: Export & post on LinkedIn.
Once you’re happy with the slides:
Click the Share button and you’ll have various options:
Export as a PDF (the ideal format for LinkedIn carousels)
or post directly to LinkedIn (you’ll need to connect your account though)
After exporting your carousel as a PDF, post it on LinkedIn
Add a punchy caption to hook your audience
ask ChatGPT or Claude to draft the post for you based on the carousel
(let me know if you want me to share a prompt)
And you’re done.

Conclusion
AI helps you easily craft carousel content. But it’s not a magic bullet.
⚠️ Avoid these pitfalls
Don’t stuff too much text on a slide.
One sentence per slide = easier to read, more likely to get shared.
Avoid generic design themes.
Please keep it clean, readable, and brand-aligned.
Don’t forget the CTA or CTE: Call-To-Engagement.
ask for comments, shares, or follows at the end.
🧠 Bonus Tips
Repurpose your launch docs into carousels:
top features, messaging frameworks, and user quotes.
Use carousels to explain experiments or growth learnings.
Batch-create carousels once a month, using AI + Gamma as your slide factory.
If you post carousels consistently, you’ll build thought leadership and teach your market how to talk about your product.
Carousels don’t have to be a chore.
Product teams can now go from idea to visual story in minutes — no designers needed.
👉 Try this on your next feature launch or GTM play. And if it works?
